BlackVue Legacy app for iPhone and iPad

Application name change: in order to avoid confusion with our latest application, “BlackVue C”, we decided to rename the “BlackVue” app “BlackVue Legacy”.

Pros and cons of BlackVue Legacy app for iPhone and iPad
BlackVue Legacy app good for
I recently bought the blackvue GR500DW with GPS and wifi and I am so impressed with the quality of the camera and how the app works with the camera. You can change all the settings wirelessly through your mobile device which makes everything really easy.
The only negative thing I can say is that I have so far been unable to export internally saved video files from the app. It would be nice to see the app be able to transport your videos from the app to your video storage so that you could email or send videos via MMS.
Phenomenal camera and app.
The app is designed to work with the wifi 500GW camera; obviously if you dont have a blackvue wifi camera its not going to work.
The app and camera are great but I hope blackvue adds an option to the app to export videos.
The app makes the dash cam the best product out there. App is stable and easy to use
Everything works on my device. The only thing is the playback video, if there is a search or something will be better.
CanadaDashCam says this is needed to connect to camera on my iPad after downloading Updated Firmware V 2.000, but of course Apple Store doesnt have it !!!
Beginning to wish I never heard of Blackvue...
Some bad moments
Nothing works. The app would never connect with the dash cam. Tried to delete the app and re download. Still wouldnt work. Really frustrating.
You are causing confusion by trying to prevent it! The app I had WAS "Blackvue" you rename it "BlackVue Legacy" but say we should be using and app called "Blackvue" that doesnt seem to even be available on the App Store.
They no longer support the old (this) app and will not support the older model cameras with the new app... Bad form gentlemen. I will not be purchasing a newer model from you and I will not be recommending your product anymore.
If you download the new app (not this one), BlackVue have a cloud feature and whether you use that feature or not, you are required to share your location to BlackVue AND other users. Otherwise, the app quits.
The legacy app (this one) does not require that, but since you they no longer support the legacy app, you are forced to use the new one for future updates AND share your location.
It works but
- impossible to rotate an iPhone on both ways when live or viewing a video
- no grouping functionality of the videos related to the same journey
- user interface of the 80s
I find with my iPhone 6 my blackvue 550 with wifi , i can give the password but with App can not connect why ?
