When I try live mode using latest updated app, it crashes the unit and stops recording new images and gets stuck at last image when I tried. My unit is DR500-GW.

Using the iPhone app to update firmware has error "NetWork Problem" its had this error for 6 months and i need to update my DR750LW When i out the lastest dashcam update onto the SD Card then when I insert the SD Card the dashcam gives me NO choice but to format the card thus losing the update i just put on 2nd problem is the touch screen, i go to press on the Display icon to switch the view to the rear camera and it misreads my touch and presses the Wi-Fi On so i have to touch the Emergency icon so the Display icon will highlight Make a note that Touch Revision does not work as i can press the first cross in the middle of the screen but when the cross moves to the left corner i am unable to touch it and there is no way out of the Revision mode unless i turn off the dashcam Fix these problems and you will have the best dashcam in Canada !!!! Everything works on my device. The only thing is the playback video, if there is a search or something will be better.

CanadaDashCam says this is needed to connect to camera on my iPad after downloading Updated Firmware V 2.000, but of course Apple Store doesnt have it !!! Beginning to wish I never heard of Blackvue...

Why provide a firmware update v2 to the dashcam when your iOS app cant crashes with the new firmware, and you havent pushed out the update to your iOS app yet??? Good job. Shouldve thought that one through a bit better...

Please offer the ability to save videos I higher resolution. Also, please try to use it, you will see that some playback is upside down because camera install is is different, why dont you try to use the app with your own hardware before releasing?????

Does what it does. Could be prettier but function > form. One thing I dont like is that when viewing footage, theres no way of disabling the map. It blocks half the screen. Could be better if there was a way of disabling it.

Internet data on the phone gets blocked when the camera connects via wifi. Cant use Safari and mot able to send/receive emails. I have to terminate the wifi connection to get my phone functioning again.

Very nice app filled with features, very nice camera with wifi.

After update to Version: 1.200 cannot connect via WiFi. Device DR550-2CH. Phone connected to camera, but application said Cannot find BlackVue.

Im impress how cool is this app, works perfectly with my car camera DR500GW-HD. WIFI Ive parked my car for 2 days did not drowned my car battery Thank You BLACKVUE

Blackvue is just awesome. I drive all over the country and having this product is a great peace of mind. I would like to see am easier way to save video to my phone over the wifi network the device puts out.

Perfect camera in every way till I downloaded the update.Now I cant get a live shot because my phone cant find the camera,has to be a prob with update or odd coincidence.Tried to contact the company by email but no answer.

This app is the main reason I am returning the Blackvue dashcam. The idea is good but the implementation is poor. Once a clip is dowloaded to the app, here is NO WAY to copy the clip to another app for editing. You can try to upload the clip right to You Tube, but a 3 minute clip is ~150mb. Also, if you somehow get the clip onto your phone (sd card->laptop->wifi hotspot->fileexplorer->open in imovie), the encoding is not recognized! I would keep it if you could d/l the clip, copy to camera roll, use iphone edit to shorten and then upload.

App software is hard to manage, user interface is not updated for retina display and it looks ugly.
